Robust offers two kits to get you set up for vacuum chucking. Components are also available individually
One kit is complete except for a rotary vacuum adapter. If you have a Robust lathe or a Powermatic 3520 (any variety) get the kit without build in rotary adapters, and by a single rotary adapter separately.
If you have a different lathe, you’ll want the kit with individual rotary adapters built into the chucks.
Buying kits saves you about 5% over purchasing the items individually. Chucks are threaded 1-1/4” x 8TPI. If you have a lathe with a different spindle size, adapters can be purchased from others to make the chucks fit. Just be sure the adapter has a hole through it.
Kits include assembly instructions, a 4CFM two-stage oil-less pump, the complete hardware kit and three chucks made by Robust from solid 6061 aluminum. Included chucks are sized: 3.25″, 4.5″ and 6″. The hardware portion of the kits require minor assembly. The pumps are imported and warranted for one year.
